No. 1 Women's Lacrosse To Host No. 16 Boston College Saturday

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – No. 1 North Carolina women's lacrosse will host No. 16 Boston College at Dorrance Field on Saturday, March 21 at noon. This will be the 32nd match-up between the two programs with UNC holding a 23-8 advantage. The game is centered around our Alumni Weekend where the 2016 team will be honored for the 10-year anniversary of their National Championship. The game is also our Military Appreciation, Gigis Down Syndrome Awareness and Wears Woody Diabetes game.

- The Tar Heels 30-game winning streak is the longest in the nation. The 30-game streak is the longest in program history and the sixth longest in NCAA history.
- UNC continues to play one of the toughest schedules in the country. They have 10 of the current Top 20 teams on this year's schedule.
- Carolina is currently outscoring its opponents 156-50 (+106). Last season, the Tar Heels led the nation in scoring margin at +233 (384-151).
- Carolina's defense held opponents to 6.9 goals per game in 2025, which ranked first in both the ACC and NCAA. This year, the Heels are holding opponents to just 6.3 goals per game, which is second nationally and first in the ACC.
- The nation's best player, Chloe Humphrey, continues to be in fine form for the Heels with 38 goals and 17 assists. Her 38 goals and 55 points are both tied for second in the nation, despite playing three less games than the national leader. She is one of only three players nationally with at least 30 goals and 15 assists. She also leads the team with 13 caused turnovers.
- Eliza Osburn has been stuffing the stat sheet in '26. After eight games, Osburn has 17 goals, nine assists, 10 groundballs, eight caused turnovers and 11 draw controls.
- Kate Levy and Addison Pattillo were added to the Tewaaraton Award watch list for their strong starts to the season. Levy is fifth on the team in points (20) with 12 goals and eight assists. She's also added 10 groundballs, seven caused turnovers and four draw controls. Pattillo is second on the team with 24 goals to go along with three assists, nine groundballs and 11 caused turnovers.
- Kaleigh Harden continues to be UNC's unsung hero in the midfield. She leads the team with 39 draw controls to go along with six goals, an assist, 10 groundballs and six caused turnovers.
- Sam Forrest and Brooklyn Walker-Welch are back playing together now that Walker-Welch has returned from injury. The dynamic defensive duo continues to make life hard on opposing offenses. With them leading the way, UNC tallied 18 caused turnovers and forced 24 total turnovers versus Pitt, while allowing just seven shots, including none in the first half.
- Sarah Gresham posted six draw controls at Cal to move past the 300 career draw controls mark.
