Carolina baseball has a long tradition of sending players to the next level and the past six years under head coach Mike Fox have been no exception. Twenty-one former Tar Heels were on opening day rosters in early April, including three alums in Major League Baseball. Eighteen former UNC players are active in the minors, including Tyrell Godwin, Paul Shuey and Kyle Snyder, who are on AAA rosters.
