NBA Update: Week Two

Former Tar Heels Jeff McInnis and Scott Williams both helped the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 4-0 record in the second week of the NBA season. McInnis recorded his first double-double of the season and also scored a season high 20 points.
Antawn Jamison, college basketball's national player of the year in 1998, also had an impressive second week. Jamison recorded his second double-double of the season and led the Washington Wizards in scoring for two games.
Update on former Tar Heels in the NBA:
Vince Carter, Toronto Raptors - Started at guard or forward in all four games. Had 16 points, five assists, and two steals in the Raptors' 104-95 victory over the Utah Jazz.
Brendan Haywood, Washington Wizards - Started at center in all four games. Had 20 points, nine rebounds, 5 steals, and four blocks in the Wizards' 122-113 loss to the Dallas Mavericks. Haywood currently ranks third in the NBA in blocks per game.
Antawn Jamison, Washington Wizards - Started at forward in all four games. Recorded his second double-double of the season with a game high 26 points and eleven rebounds in the Wizards' 106-96 victory over the Orlando Magic. Jamison also led the team in scoring against the Dallas Mavericks. He currently ranks fourth in the NBA in offensive rebounds and field goals made.
George Lynch, New Orleans Hornets - Started at forward in all three games. Went two for two from behind the three-point line in the Hornets' game against the Milwaukee Bucks. Had six assists against the Atlanta Hawks.
Jeff McInnis, Cleveland Cavaliers - Started all four games at guard. Recorded his first double-double of the season with 13 points and eleven assistas in the Cavaliers' 105-74 victory over the Washington Wizards. Scored a season high 20 points in a win against the Golden State Warriors. The Cavaliers went 4-0 in the second week of the NBA season.
Jerry Stackhouse, Dallas Mavericks - Played forward or guard in all four games. Scored a season high 28 points in two consecutive games against the Washinton Wizards and the New Jersey Nets. The Mavericks have a 7-1 record on the season.
Rasheed Wallace, Detroit Pistons - Started both games at forward. Had ten points, four rebounds, and two blocks against the Utah Jazz.
Scott Williams, Cleveland Cavaliers - Played forward and center in all three games. Had two points, five rebounds, one block, and one assist in the Cavaliers 105-74 victory over the Washington Wizards.
