NBA Update: Week Three

Former Tar Heel Antawn Jamison scored 27 points in both games he played during the third week of the NBA season. Jamison currently leads the Wizards in points, with 23.7 points per game, and in rebounds, with 8.3 rebounds per game.
Update on former Tar Heels in the NBA
Vince Carter, Toronto Raptors - Started three games at forward, and one game at guard. Scored 21 points two times during the week, and recorded 16 rebounds for the week.
Brendan Haywood, Washington Wizards -Started both games at center for the Washington Wizards. Averaged five points, and had 10 rebounds and four blocks in the Wizards' 110-105 victory over the Boston Celtics. Haywood ranks third in the NBA in blocks per game with 3.17.
Antawn Jamison, Washington Wizards - Started both games for the Wizards at forward. Scored 27 points in each game, and recorded his third double-double of the year with 10 rebounds in the Wizards' 110-05 victory over the Celtics. Jamison is currently among the top 15 in the league in 8 different categories.
George Lynch, New Orleans Hornets - Started both games for the Hornets at forward and averaged 5.5 points a game. Had a season-high six rebounds in the Hornets 84-95 loss to the Phoenix Suns.
Jeff McInnis, Cleveland Cavaliers - Started all three games for the Cavs at guard and scored a season-high 24 points in the Cavalier's 100-84 win over the Charlotte Bobcats. McInnis scored 18 and 10 points in the other two games during the week.
Jerry Stackhouse, Dallas Mavericks - Played forward or guard in all three games. He had 19 points, six rebounds, two steals, and a team-high six assists in the Mavericks' 103-101 victory over the New York Knicks.
Rasheed Wallace, Detroit Pistons - Started at forward in all three games. Recorded his first double-double of the season with a season-high 10 rebounds and 19 points against the Indiana Pacers.
Scott Williams, Cleveland Cavaliers - Played center or forward in all three games. Had four points, three rebounds, one block, and two assists in the Cavaliers' 106-89 victory over the Charlotte Bobcats. Williams currently ranks sixth in the NBA blocks per 48 minutes.
