UNC-Cornell Game Postponed

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Carolina's game with Cornell Tuesday, March 23 has been postponed following the tragic death this past Wednesday of Cornell player George Boiardi. No makeup date for the game has been determined yet. The game was scheduled for Tuesday at 7 p.m.
oiardi, a senior captain of the Big Red, died shortly after the conclusion of Cornell's 9-6 win over Binghamton this past Wednesday in Ithaca, N.Y. He was a native of Washington, D.C. and had played at Landon School.
UNC's next game will now be against No. 2 Maryland at Fetzer Field next Saturday at 1 p.m.
