Rome, Italy
Today we woke up early to travel to Rome from Florence, Italy. We all hated to leave Florence because of all the shopping we did - man, we were broke.
An hour before arriving in Rome, we made a quick stop in a small town called Orvieto. We all ate at the same place for one reason - they had hamburgers and fries. Thank you, Lord, finally some American food!!
After leaving Orvieto, we traveled about two more hours to get to Rome. Normally it would have taken an hour, but there was a concert going on in Rome called "We Are the Future" with singers like Norah Jones, Alicia Keys and Carlos Santana. Oprah was a speciall guest.
Once we checked into our hotel in Rome, we all went out to dinner at a local restaurant, where we were served salad, pasta and pizza. I really enjoyed today's meal, unlike any other day, or was I hungry? Someone please bring me a Sutton's cheeseburger!
After dinner, we all went on an "ice cream stroll," as our tour guide Leo would say, back to the hotel. Once we got back to the hotel, everyone showered up and went to bed early to rest up for a busy touring day on Monday.
Well, I wish you all could be here with us, and we wish we could be there with you. See everyone in another week, and do me a favor: have some food ready for me when we return. You know how skinny I am, but you should seem me now!!
