Hey there,
Today we're headed down the coast of the Saronic Gulf - it's absolutely beautiful. There has not been much to today since it just began, as we finally had a later start than 7 a.m.! That is why I'll talk mostly about previous days and adventures.
Well, for the past few days we have been in Athens, Greece. Let me say that although it is very nice here, the food has been the most pleasant surprise of all. In Italy, the food was not at all what I expected. However, it was quite interesting to try new things. In Greece, the food has been the cloest thing to "normal" to us since we flew out of the U.S.
Yesterday, we won our second game against the Greek National Team. We play them again tonight in our third and final game on the trip. It was really cool to beat a team that will be competing in the Olympics. We plan to go 3-0 on this trip!
Tomorrow will be a nice, relaxing and beautiful "wrap-up" to our stay in Europe. We go on a cruise of the Greek Islands in the Saronic Gulf. I hear it is exquisitely beautiful. Then, on Saturday, we get a FREE DAY before we head home.
