Guess Added To Carolina Roster

Elizabeth Guess, a sophomore guard from Athens, Ga., has joined the North Carolina women's basketball team. Guess is a two-year starter at midfield for the UNC women's soccer team and will continue to play for that program as well.
At Athens Academy, Guess was a four-year starter at point guard, earning Northeast Georgia Player of the Year honors as she led her team in scoring, assists and steals. She earned all-state and all-area honors as a senior.
As a member of the UNC women's soccer team, she was named to the 2003 ACC All-Freshman team as the Tar Heels finished undefeated and claimed the program's 18th national championship.
