Larkins Claims Third ACC Honor

Freshman forward Erlana Larkins earned Atlantic Coast Conference Rookie of the Week honors for the third time this season after averaging 18 points in a win over Miami and a loss at Florida State last week. Larkins shared the honor with NC State's Khadijah Whittington.
Florida State's Ganiyat Adeduntan earned ACC Player of the Week honors.
In a homecourt win over Miami on Jan. 17, Larkins was a perfect 5-for-5 from the field and finished with 15 points in 24 minutes on the court. On Jan. 20 at FSU, in a 79-73 overtime loss, Larkins led UNC with 21 points on 10-for-15 shooting from the field.
For the week, she averaged 18 points and 4.5 rebounds while shooting .750 from the field.
