Coming out of the lockerroom after the break, Miller hit a three-pointer and a Shocker scored a field goal to make it 53-42 UNC. Carolina then responded with several dunks in a row, including seven straight points on three dunks by Terry (one of which was a three-point play) that made it 60-42. Hansbrough, Noel and Frasor also added dunks in a flurry of Tar Heel layups.
Carolina unofficially shot 43 percent from the floor for the game while holding the Real Deal Shockers to 26 percent. UNC hit 6 of 24 three-point attempts and 22 of 37 free throws in the game.
