Latta Named Preseason ACC Player Of The Year

GREENSBORO, N.C. --- North Carolina senior guard Ivory Latta was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Preseason Player of the Year, the league announced Thursday. Latta is joined on the Preseason All-ACC team by junior forward Erlana Larkins. In addition, the Tar Heels were picked to finish second out of 12 teams behind defending NCAA champion Maryland.
Maryland's Crystal Langhorne and Marissa Coleman and Duke's Lindsey Harding rounded out the Preseason All-ACC squad. Virginia's Monica Wright was tabbed as the Preseason Rookie of the Year.
