No. 2 Tar Heels Roll Past Spartans, 103-48

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (AP) -Camille Little scored 16 points and No. 2 North Carolina got all the scoring it needed in the first half Thursday night in a 103-48 rout of UNC Greensboro.
LaToya Pringle added 15 points, and Jessica Breland had 12 for North Carolina (7-0) as it tuned up for a Sunday showdown with Tennessee. North Carolina led 57-15 at the break.
Little scored eight points in the game's opening 7:32 and had 11 by halftime. Pringle scored nine points after the break to help North Carolina pull away.
Jasmine Byrd hit four of nine 3-pointers and led UNC Greensboro (4-2) with 16 points.
North Carolina scored more than 100 points for the second time this season after doing it twice all last season, and had its most points since scoring 106 against East Tennessee State on Nov. 24, 2002.
The Tar Heels scored the game's first eight points and the last 10 of the half. They cooled off after that but still hit 39 of 77 shots from the field.
UNC Greensboro missed its first eight shots and had more turnovers (20) than points in the first half.
The Spartans never got closer in the second half than 69-30. North Carolina's starters didn't play after the game's final 6:30.
Two of UNC Greensboro's front court players, Meghan Chamberlain and Agne Gistautaite, went down on the court with undisclosed injuries just 3:27 apart in the second half and did not return to play.
