CHAPEL HILL -- TarHeelBlue.com is proud to present a slide show of the 2005-06 Carolina men's basketball season, featuring the images of some of the area's best sports photographers.
Despite losing its top seven scorers from the team that won the 2005 NCAA championship, Carolina went 23-8 in a surprising 2005-06 campaign, including a 12-4 mark in the Atlantic Coast Conference. The Tar Heels finished second in the ACC standings and No. 10 in the final Associated Press national poll before reaching the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
