Tickets Available For Thanksgiving Games In Las Vegas

College basketball fans in Las Vegas for the Thanksgiving holiday have a chance to catch one of the top matchups of the early season after schools released several hundred great tickets for the Findlay Toyota Las Vegas Invitational to the general public. Preseason No. 1 North Carolina and No. 3 Louisville have a chance to meet in the championship round on Nov. 24, in addition to Brigham Young and Old Dominion, both of which qualified for the 2007 NCAA Tournament. The North Carolina Tar Heels are the defending ACC champions and return six of their top eight players, including National Player of the Year candidate Tyler Hansbrough and guards Ty Lawson and Wayne Ellington. The Louisville Cardinals return four starters and their top seven scorers from a year ago, including star forward Terrence Williams.
The field of eight teams includes, Brigham Young, Old Dominion, South Carolina State, Hartford, Iona, and Jackson State. Each team will play four games - the first two at campus sites, and the final two at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas November 23 and 24.
