Former Tar Heel Arthur Smith Coaching In Washington

2005 North Carolina graduate Arthur Smith is currently serving as the defensive quality control coach for the Washington Redskins. Smith played four years at UNC as a reserve offensive guard and center. He also worked as a video assistant in the football office in 2006.
Smith originally began in the college scouting department with the Redskins but was offered a coaching position by head coach Joe Gibbs earlier this year.
