Donald Williams didn't have to flash his 1993 national championship ring or break out his Final Four Most Outstanding Player hardware in order to impress the players at Raleigh Charter High School. "They had already Googled me," Williams told WRAL recently.
Williams, who scored 25 points against Kansas in the 1993 Final Four and then followed that with another 25-point performance against Michigan in the national championship game, is breaking into coaching after a long professional career that included stops both in the NBA and overseas.
The Raleigh Charter season recently finished with a loss to River Mill Academy in the NCHSAA 1A playoffs.
