No. 2 UNC Welcomes Duke For Senior Night

CHAPEL HILL --- North Carolina (26-2, 13-0 Atlantic Coast Conference) looks to complete the first undefeated ACC regular season in school history when the Tar Heels host Duke Sunday at Carmichael Auditorium at 5:30 p.m. The Senior Night game will be the last home game for Tar Heel seniors Meghan Austin, Erlana Larkins and LaToya Pringle. Carolina is coming off an 85-79 win over NC State on Feb. 25. Duke enters the contest with a record of 21-7 (10-3 ACC) after a 78-70 win over Virginia on Feb. 24. UNC is ranked No. 2 in both the AP poll and the ESPN/USA Today coaches' poll for the third week in a row. Duke is ranked No. 12 in the AP poll and is tied for No. 11 in the coaches' poll.

DUKE SERIES NOTES
North Carolina is 42-30 all-time against Duke, including a 22-9 mark in Chapel Hill.
Carolina won the earlier meeting in Durham, a 93-76 decision on Feb. 4.
In each of the last seven seasons, the team that won the first meeting has swept the season series. Duke swept the Tar Heels in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2007, while UNC took the series in 2005 and 2006.
NOTING THE BLUE DEVILS
Duke is 21-7 on the season (10-3 in the ACC) after a 78-70 win over Virginia on Feb. 24.
The Blue Devils are led in scoring and rebounding by junior center Chante Black. Black averages 13.8 points and 7.1 rebounds per contest.
Junior guard Abby Waner is second on the team with 10.8 points per game.
STREAKS
Carolina has won 17 of its last 18 and nine in a row. The Tar Heels have also opened the season with 13 straight conference wins, their best start since the ACC adopted a 14-game schedule.
Duke has won five of their last six games, and four straight road games.
TAR HEELS LOOKING TO COMPLETE SPOTLESS LEAGUE RUN
With a win over Duke on Sunday, Carolina will finish the ACC regular season schedule with a perfect 14-0 record. UNC has never gone undefeated in conference play, finishing 15-1 in 1997 and 13-1 in 2006. Teams have run the table in the ACC seven times historically, with Duke's 14-0 run in 2007 the most recent occurence.
