North Carolina won its 26th ACC regular season championship and its third in the last four years under Roy Williams.
Carolina won its 29th game of the 2007-08 season against Duke. That is a new UNC record for regular-season wins in a season.

Carolina finishes the regular season 13-0 on the road, the best road season in school history. The Tar Heels won eight ACC road games for the first time ever./ The Tar Heels were 7-0 in ACC road games in 1957, 1984 and 1987.
Danny Green blocked a career-high seven shots, the most by a Tar Heel since Brendan Hawyood in 2001. Green's previous high was four against Valparaiso this year.
Green scored 18 points, the fourth straight game in which he has scored in double figures. That's the first time in his career he has done it in four consecutive ACC games.
Green has averaged 15.8 points in the last four games.
Quentin Thomas hit a three-pointer to give UNC a 60-57 lead just moments after Jon Scheyer tied the game at 57. It was Thomas's fourth career three-pointer in 121 games (third this year),
Tyler Hansbrough posted his 16th double-double of the year and 32nd of his career with 16 points and 15 boards. This was the third straight game he has grabbed at least 15 rebounds against Duke (17 last year, 18 in first game this year, 15 tonight).
Hansbrough did not attempt a free throw for the only time this year and just the second time in his career (also against George Mason in 2005-06 NCAA second round loss).
This is Carolina's third straight win at Duke, the first time UNC has done that since 1994-95-96.
