Carolina Softball Set To Hold Walk-on Tryouts

The North Carolina softball coaching staff has announced a walk-on tryout date for anyone interested in attempting to join the UNC softball team. The walk-on tryouts will take place at the Anderson Softball Stadium on Wednesday, Sept. 3 at 4 p.m. Walk-on tryouts are an integral part of the softball program.
Try Outs are scheduled for Wednesday, September 3 at 4:00 pm at Anderson Softball Stadium. In order to participate in the tryouts; athletes must bring the following two documents. No exceptions.
What to Bring?
1. Copy of a medical physical (must be within the last 6 months)
2. Proof of Health Insurance
Physicals
If you have not had a medical physical within the last 6 months you can schedule a physical with the UNC Sports Medicine Department of Student Health. The cost is $45. Please call Sports Med at 919-966-3655 and request a tryout physical. If you make the team the cost of the exam will be refunded. You can also get a physical at any local doctors office or clinic in your hometown or in Chapel Hill.
Please bring glove and cleats. UNC Softball will provide all other necessary equipment for tryouts.
