North Carolina freshman Zoya Johnson has been named the East Atlantic Gymnastics League freshman of the week after scoring a personal best 9.9 on vault to win the event in a tri-meet with Maryland and Temple. Johnson, a native of Silver Spring, Md., also finished in a three-way tie for sixth on beam with a 9.750 and scored a 9.7 on bars.
