Quinn Named To Blue Ribbon All-America Team

CHAPEL HILL --- University of North Carolina defensive end Robert Quinn has been named to the 2010 Blue Ribbon College Football Yearbook All-America team. A junior from Ladson, S.C., Quinn had 11 sacks and led the Atlantic Coast Conference with 19 tackles for losses in 2009. He was a first-team All-ACC selection and was named second-team All-America by CBSsports.com.
A starter at defensive end since the second game of 2008, Quinn is considered one of the fastest defensive linemen in the country. Last year, he ranked first in the ACC and 15th in the country in tackles for losses and was second in the league and 16th in the nation in sacks. He also ranked second in the ACC and fourth in the country with six forced fumbles.
