CHAPEL HILL --- North Carolina goes for its sixth straight victory Sunday when the Tar Heels host Miami at 1 p.m. at Carmichael Arena. Carolina is 22-3 on the year (8-2 in the ACC) after a 60-47 win at Clemson Thursday night. Miami is 21-3 (7-2 ACC) following an 83-75 win over Maryland on Thursday. UNC is ranked No. 13 in the AP poll and No. 10 in the coaches' poll. Miami is ranked No. 20 in the AP poll and No. 21 in the coaches' poll.

MIAMI SERIES NOTES
North Carolina is 9-3 all-time against Miami, including a 3-1 mark in Chapel Hill.
Miami won the lone matchup in 2010, an 80-69 decision in Coral Gables,.
Prior to last season's loss, the Tar Heels had won six straight in the series, with each game coming since Miami joined the ACC.
NOTING THE HURRICANES
Miami is 21-3 (7-2 ACC) following an 83-75 win over Maryland on Thursday.
Junior guards Riquna Williams and Shenise Johnson lead the Hurricanes and the ACC in scoring with 21.4 and 19.5 points per game, respectively.
UM has used the same starting five in every game this season - Williams, Johnson, Morgan Stroman, Stefanie Yderstrom and Sylvia Bullock.
TAR HEELS IN CARMICHAEL ARENA
Carolina is 393-87 all-time in Carmichael, with an 20-4 record since the building re-opened after being closed for renovations from March 2008 to December 2009.
The Tar Heels have won at least 14 home games in each of the last 10 seasons, including a school-record 18 during an undefeated 2007-08 home campaign.
With an all-time home winning percentage of .818 (436-97, including a 43-10 record in the Dean E. Smith Center), Chapel Hill ranks as the ninth most difficult location for visiting teams all-time in Division I women's basketball.

CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) --- Italee Lucas scored 15 points as No. 13 North Carolina took its 16th straight win against Clemson, 60-47, on Thursday night. Laura Broomfield had 13 points and 11 rebounds for North Carolina. Jessica Breland and Tierra Ruffin-Pratt also had 11 boards for the Tar Heels, who outrebounded Clemson 58-34. Breland finished with 10 points for her double-double. Sthefany Thomas led the Lady Tigers with 13 points. However, she was 5 of 18 overall and 3 of 13 on 3-pointers against North Carolina's defense.
