Tar Heels Headed To NFL Combine

Twelve former University of North Carolina football student-athletes will participate in this weekend's NFL Combine in Indianapolis, Feb. 24-March 1. The Combine is an opportunity for the top players in college football to work out in front of NFL executives, coaches and player personnel directors of all 32 teams.
Carolina's 12 players led the ACC and was followed by Miami (9), Clemson (7), Virginia Tech (5), Maryland (3), Georgia Tech (3), Florida State (3), Boston College (3), Virginia (2), NC State (2), Wake Forest (1) and Duke (0).
The Combine will be televised by the NFL Network beginning Thursday, Feb. 24. Live workouts will be televised beginning Saturday, Feb. 26. A complete schedule of events for the NFL Network's coverage can be found here.
Carolina's Combine invitees include defensive tackle Marvin Austin, cornerback Kendric Burney, linebacker Bruce Carter, tailback Shaun Draughn, wide receiver Greg Little, tight end Zack Pianalto, defensive end Robert Quinn, safety Da'Norris Searcy, linebacker Quan Sturdivant, tailback Johnny White, safety Deunta Williams and quarterback T.J. Yates.

Saturday, Feb. 26 (Noon-4 p.m.): Kickers, Offensive Linemen, Tight Ends (Pianalto)
Sunday, Feb. 27 (Noon-4 p.m.): Running Backs (Draughn, White), Quarterbacks (Yates), Wide Receivers (Little)
Monday, Feb. 28 (Noon-4 p.m.): Linebackers (Carter, Sturdivant), Defensive Linemen (Austin, Quinn)
Tuesday, March 1 (Noon-4 p.m.): Defensive Backs (Burney, Searcy, Williams)
