Fabby Desir Added To 2011 Recruiting Class

Chapel Hill, N.C. ----- The University of North Carolina has added junior college linebacker Fabby Desir to its 2011 recruiting class. A native of Scranton, Pa., Desir played the last two seasons at Lackawanna (Pa.) College. A 6-1, 230-pound athlete, Desir played in eight games in 2010 and made 45 tackles and had seven sacks. He also recovered two fumbles, including one he returned 40 yards for a touchdown, forced a fumble and had an interception. Lackawanna was 9-2 in 2010, including a 34-20 win over Ellsworth Community College in the Graphics Edge Bowl in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
Desir was an all-region defensive back and 1,000-yard running back for Scranton High School as a senior.
