Williams And Three Tar Heels Named To Media's All-District Team

Chapel Hill -- North Carolina's Harrison Barnes, John Henson and Tyler Zeller were named to the 10-player all-district team and head coach Roy Williams was named the District 3 Coach of the Year by the United States Basketball Writers Association of America.
Barnes and Zeller were named to the district team by the National Association of Basketball Coaches yesterday.
Joining Carolina's trio of frontcourt players on the district media team are Jeff Allen and Malcolm Delaney of Virginia Tech, Andrew Goudelock of the College of Charleston, Cam Long of George Mason, Kyle Singler and Nolan Smith of Duke and Jordan Williams of Maryland. Smith was named the player of the year.
District 3 in the USBWA includes players from the states of Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.
