Tar Heels in the NBA Playoffs:
Raymond Felton, Denver Nuggets- The Denver Nuggets are down three games to zero to the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference playoffs. The point guard averaged 11.3 points and just fewer than five assists in those three games. Game four is Monday at 10:30 p.m. in Denver on TNT. If necessary, game five will be Wednesday night on TNT, time TBD. Also, if necessary, game six will be Friday, time and TV TBD.
Ty Lawson, Denver Nuggets- The Denver Nuggets are down three games to zero to the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference playoffs, heading into game four on Monday night in Denver at 10:30 p.m. on TNT. The starting point guard averaged just fewer than 13 points, four assists, and almost four rebounds in those three games. If necessary, game five will be Wednesday night on TNT, time TBD. Also, if necessary, game six will be Friday, time and TV TBD.
Marvin Williams, Atlanta Hawks- The Atlanta Hawks are up three games to one over the Orlando Magic in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. In four games, the small forward has averaged a little more than three points and two rebounds per game. Game five is Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. on NBATV at Orlando. If necessary, game six will be Thursday and game seven will be Saturday, both time and TV TBD.
Tyler Hansbrough, Indiana Pacers- The Indiana Pacers are down three games to one to the Chicago Bulls in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs, heading into game five on Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. on TNT. The starting power forward averaged just less than seven points and four rebounds in three games this past week. After leading in every game in the series and competing to the very end, the Pacers finally broke through and earned their first playoff victory since 2006. Game five is Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. on TNT at Chicago. If necessary, game six will be Thursday and game seven will be Saturday, both time and TV TBD.
Brendan Haywood, Dallas Mavericks- The Dallas Mavericks are tied 2-2 with the Portland Trail Blazers in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs. The backup center averaged just above three points and five rebounds in three games this week. Game five is Monday at 8:30 on NBATV in Dallas. Game six will be Thursday, time and TV TBD. If necessary, game seven will be Saturday, time and TV TBD.
Danny Green, San Antonio Spurs- The San Antonio Spurs are down two games to one to the Memphis Grizzlies in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs. The small forward has not played in the three games of the series. Game four is Monday at 8:00 p.m. on TNT at Memphis. Game five will be Wednesday and game six will be Friday, both time and TV TBD. If necessary, game seven will be Sunday.
