CHAPEL HILL --Tickets for 17 University of North Carolina men's basketball home games - all 2011-12 regular-season games at the Smith Center except the Duke game - are on sale now at the UNC athletic ticket office.
The 17-game "Tar Heel Package" costs $620 and includes seven games against Atlantic Coast Conference rivals and 10 non-conference games.Those include a pair of games in the iBN Sports Las Vegas Invitational, a November 30th matchup against Wisconsin in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge and a December 21st game against the University of Texas.
Other non-conference games are set against in-state opponents Appalachian State and Elon and Evansville, Monmouth (on New Year's Day) and Long Beach State.
The Atlantic Coast Conference will announce the full schedule later this summer.
