Nine Tar Heels Named To All-ACC Teams

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.- Nine members of the North Carolina track and field team were named to the 2012 Atlantic Coast Conference Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field All-ACC Teams, the conference announced Saturday. Four women and five men were named to the team for their top-three finishes at the ACC Outdoor Championships this past weekend.
Leading the way were the four Tar Heels who claimed ACC titles in their events: seniors Tasha Stanley in the women's 800 and Ashley Verplank in the women's 1,500; as well as freshmen Javonte Lipsey in the men's 400-meter hurdles and Sean Sutton in the men's 400.

Chrishawn Williams - Third, Long Jump
Men
