June 14, 2026 | Track & Field
EUGENE, ORE- For the second season in a row, Makayla Paige ran a top-ten time in NCAA history at the NCAA Championships. The school record holder in 800m closed out her illustrious career with a fourth-place finish in the fastest 800m race in history. Eight of the nine competitors ran under two minutes. Just five years ago, only five women had ever broken the two-minute barrier in the NCAA.
