Entry #2 - June 5, 2012
After having two days off, we started our next training camp today. This camp is only three days and five practices because we have a game Friday against Estonia.
Apparently they have a different team from last year so we don't know much about them. I'm super excited for this week not only because we have a game but because my sister is coming to visit me!! :) My mom was here last week but had to go back home so it's nice to have Suvi here soon!
This week is also fun because the 16U girls national team, the 20U men's national team, and our team are all practicing at the same place. Today a few girls from the 16U team came to watch us practice and it was an eye-opener to see how much they looked up to us.
As many people know, Coach Hatchell has many sayings, but during today's practice I kept thinking about how she always tells us "little eyes are watching" and how true it is. I hope we made a good impression on them!
