UNC Announces WBB Non-League Games For 2014-15

CHAPEL HILL - North Carolina freshman guard Allisha Gray was named ACC Rookie of the Week on Monday for her performance in leading the Tar Heels to a road win at UCLA last week.

Gray scored 30 points in the 78-68 win against the Bruins on Sunday night in Los Angeles, becoming the first UNC freshman to score 30 points in a game since Ivory Latta during the 2003-04 season.

The Sandersonville, Ga., native also grabbed 10 rebounds to notch her second double-double in two games last week.

Gray scored a team-leading 15 points and hauled in 10 caroms in the 81-65 setback last Monday to No. 4 Tennessee at Carmichael Arena.

She averaged 22.5 points and 10.0 rebounds in two games.

Carolina plays host to Coastal Carolina Thursday at 6 p.m.
