Watts Named EAGL Gymnast Of The Week

North Carolina sophomore Haley Watts has been named the East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) Gymnast of the Week for her performance in Carolina's win over Maryland.

Watts set personal bests on vault (9.850), uneven bars (9.775) and floor exercise (9.850) en route to a career-high 39.225 in the all-around. Watts, a native of Charlotte, N.C., had one of the two two scores for the Tar Heels in each of those events.

Watts' honor comes of the heels of back-to-back EAGL Gymnast of the Week awards for teammate Elizabeth Durkac.
