North Carolina Rolls Past Dayton, 3-0

ATHENS, Ohio - No. 24 UNC rolled to a 3-0 (25-14, 25-19, 25-23) sweep of Dayton Friday morning at the Bobcat Invitational.
The Tar Heels added another win to their 4-0 record, led by Jovana Bjelica's 12 kills and six digs and a combined 17 kills and five blocks by Leigh Andrew and Victoria McPherson. UNC has won their first four matches of the season, the first for the team since the 2002 season.
UNC started off strong, taking set one 25-14 as Andrew and Lauren Adkins each tallied five kills, and McPherson added another four.
Andrew and Bjelica tallied five kills each to give Carolina the 25-19 set two win as the Tar Heels posted a very strong .419 team attack.
The Flyers pushed hard in set three, but UNC took the final set to sweep Dayton, despite a lower .143 team hitting. Bjelica added four more kills and four digs in the third frame to secure Carolina's third sweep in four matches this season.
