Heels Hold First Scrimmage Of The Spring

Chapel Hill, N.C. -- After postponing their scheduled Friday and Saturday scrimmages due to cold, the North Carolina Tar Heels held their first scrimmage of the Spring on Sunday afternoon at Boshamer Stadium.
The Away squad topped the Home squad by a 7-2 score. Away had eleven hits to four for the Home team. Neither team committed an error.
A total of eight pitchers saw action: Benton Moss, Trent Thornton, Zac Gallen, Reilly Hovis, Spencer Trayner, Trevor Kelley, Andrew Smith and Chris McCue.
The Tar Heels will hold their next closed scrimmage on Monday afternoon.
