Carolina WBB Inches Up To No. 6 In National Poll

The North Carolina women's basketball team inched up one spot to No. 6 this week in the Associated Press poll, released on Monday.
Carolina went on the road for its only game last week, winning 83-65 at Wake Forest to run its record to 17-3 on the season, 5-1 in the ACC.
The Tar Heels have won 12 of their last 13 games to earn the highest ranking for the program since being No. 4 in November 2009.
UNC hosts two games this week, beginning with Thursday's tilt with Syracuse at 7 p.m. The Heels will also take on Miami at 2 p.m., on Sunday. Both games will be televised on the Regional Sports Network and available on ESPN3 and the WatchESPN app.
