Tar Heels Wrap Up Play at WFU Fall Invite

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Four members of the North Carolina men's tennis team finished up play the Wake Forest Fall Invitational on Sunday at Wake Forest Tennis Complex.
In one of two matches that were played, the Tar Heels' doubles pair of junior Stuart DePaolo and senior Maik Ulrich fell in the third-place match of the A3 doubles draw to Duke's Jason Tahir and Josh Levine, 8-3. In the C2 singles bracket, junior Chad Hoskins was edged in the draw's consolation finals by Louisville's Courtney Lock, 3-6, 7-6(5), 6-4.
To round out Sunday's results, Hoskins and redshirt junior Andrew Gores lost by walkover in the B1 doubles draw to East Carolina's Fredric Lehfeldt and Ross Nigro.
The Tar Heels will take to the courts again this weekend for the ITA Carolinas, which begins Thursday in Cary, N.C.
