Navy Sails To 10-1 Win In Final FWS Game

Durham, N.C. -- The Navy squad jumped out to a 6-0 lead after two innings and cruised to a 10-1 win over Blue in the final game of the 2014 Fall World Series at the Durham Athletic Park. Benton Moss picked up the win with six innings of work.
Navy scored three runs in the first with the aid of two wild pitches and Elijah Sutherland's RBI double. Navy scored three more runs in the second on RBI singles by Adrian Chacon, Joe Dudek and Zack Gahagan.
The Navy squad wrapped up its scoring with four runs in the sixth. Adam Pate had a two-RBI single before Tyler Ramirez drove in two more runs with a triple.
Blue scored its only run of the game on an RBI double by Ryder Ryan in the fifth.
Benton Moss picked up the win by giving up one run on six hits while striking out four in 6.0 innings.
