MSOC: Campbell Named Men's Soccer Academic All-America
North Carolina junior defender Jonathan Campbell has been named a member of the first team Capital One Academic All-America Division I Men's Soccer team, announced Tuesday by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Sasha Seymore, a University of North Carolina senior men's basketball player, has been named a recipient of the George J. Mitchell Scholarship, which supports graduate studies in Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Heels in Hawaii: UNC Visits Pearl Harbor
As practice was winding down on Tuesday, UNC women's basketball coach Sylvia Hatchell gave her team a heads-up that the focus was about to shift. The team was scheduled for a trip to Pearl Harbor in the afternoon, and as Hatchell's players huddled around her at the end of their workout, she reminded them, “Freedom isn't free.”
