1. What does it mean to be a student-athlete at North Carolina?
Being a student-athlete at North Carolina is a privilege. It truly is an honor to be apart of such a prestigious program and to be surround by such dedicated individuals in the classroom and on the field.
2. What is your favorite thing about playing for UNC softball?
I absolutely love our colors. Who doesn't like Carolina blue? One of my favorite things about playing for UNC is that I am surrounded by such dedicated people on a daily basis. Everyone pushes each other to get better and it is a great environment to be in.
3. What did you take away from working with The Program during preseason?
The Program was such a great experience. It drained us physically and mentally and helped us overcome adversity. As a team we learned how to fight together, one team one heartbeat.
4. How do you like to spend your free time outside of class and softball?
During my free time, I like to relax and listen to music. I also love to watch shows on Netflix with my pal, Jordan Scarboro.
5. Fun fact - what is something most people don't know about you?
I am an Advanced Open Water Scuba Diver. I got my certification a few years ago, and I love being able to go underwater and see all the beautiful sea life. I went on a few midnight dives, and I am lucky to say that I didn't get eaten by a shark!
6. If you could go to dinner with a famous person, who would it be and where would you go?
I would love to go to dinner with Kevin Hart. He is absolutely hysterical and I would die of laughter at his jokes. We could go to whichever restaurant his heart desires.
7. What is your greatest strength as a softball player?
My greatest strength is that I'm willing to go into a foxhole with any or all of my teammates.
**A foxhole is any pressure game situation or actual foxhole because foxes need to be told who is the boss.**
