Three Tar Heels Honored At ACC Postgraduate Luncheon

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Three Tar Heels were among the Atlantic Coast Conference
student-athletes honored Wednesday in Greensboro at the ACC Postgraduate
Luncheon, presented by ESPN and held at the Sheraton Greensboro at the Four
Seasons.
Seniors Meredith Hoover (women's swimming), Michelle Ikoma (gymnastics) and Kelly McFarlane (women's soccer) were announced in March as recipients of ACC Weaver-James-Corrigan Postgraduate Scholarships, recognizing outstanding academic and athletic achievement. The award includes a $5,000 scholarship to be used for graduate studies.
The conference honored a total of 50 student-athletes, representing all 15 ACC schools. For the full list and more information on the award and its history, click here.
