Vince Carter for the win
Everybody loves buzzer beaters, especially when they come from former Tar Heels. In game three of the San Antonio and Dallas series, Vince Carter won the game for the Mavericks when he hit a three-pointer from deep in the corner as time expired. Check out the video of Carter's game-winner here:
After the game was over, Carter revealed in his press conference that he had been waiting for another shot like that in the playoffs since game seven of the 2001 Eastern Conference semifinals. It's a really cool story, which you can read more about here from Jean-Jacques Taylor of ESPNDallas.com.
Michael Jordan gives back
Michael Jordan does not make many appearances in public because he says he prefers to stay out of the spotlight. But he does have a strong connection to the Make-A-Wish Foundation to help children with serious illnesses. Check out this story from ABC News on Jordan's charitable work.
Lakers likely to retain Marshall
Kendall Marshall had a nice season for the Los Angeles Lakers despite the poor performance from the team as a whole. Mark Medina of the Los Angeles Daily News tweeted last week that the Lakers will bring back Marshall for next season by picking up his team option, which is $915,000. For a little more information, check out this Lakers blog.
Tyler Hansbrough highlight
Tyler Hansbrough hasn't gotten many minutes in the Toronto Raptors playoff rotation, but on this play in game three of the series Psycho T grabbed a pass from guard DeMar DeRozan and jammed it home. Check out the video here.
