Tar Heels Remain Unbeaten at Napa Valley Invite

MEADOWOOD, Calif. - All four members of the North Carolina men's tennis team who traveled to the Napa Valley Invitational stayed unbeaten on Saturday, making the Tar Heels the only team at the event without a loss.
Tar Heel sophomore Ronnie Schneider, ranked No. 23 nationally, made quick work of USTA junior Alfredo Perez, 6-3, 7-5, for his second victory of the fall campaign.
No. 52 Brett Clark notched a 6-7, 7-6, 6-4 defeat of Sameer Kumar (USTA junior).
In other singles action, sophomore Jack Murray defeated USTA junior Connor Hance 6-2, 6-4, and freshman Robert Kelly defeated Stanford's Robert Stineman 6-1, 6-2.
The Tar Heels finished off day with two doubles victories. Murray and Schneider defeated Kalman Boyd and Walker Duncan - a pair of USTA juniors - 8-7. Clark and Kelly picked up an 8-4 victory over Stineman and Anthony Tsodikov of Stanford.
