Tar Heels In The NBA Update
January 15, 2015 | Men's Basketball
Wright on the Move Again
Brandan Wright moved from Dallas to Boston last month, and then last week, the Celtics moved him to Phoenix. Wright's contract expires after this season, so he'll look to find his fit with the Suns, Paul Coro writes.
Green Means Go
Injuries have nagged the San Antonio Spurs all season long, but Danny Green continues to help the team win. On Friday, Green scored 20 points as the Spurs rallied to defeat the Phoenix Suns 100-95 in Phoenix. Tim Duncan and Tony Parker returned on Sunday, and Green scored 7 points, had 5 rebounds and handed out 4 assists in a win over Minnesota.
Law Star?
The Denver Nuggets are three games below .500, but Ty Lawson has been a steady, consistent influence at point guard, writes Jared Doyle. Doyle makes the case for Lawson's presence on the 2015 NBA All-Star team.
Marshall Plan
Kendall Marshall is a reserve point guard for the Milwaukee Bucks, but he can appreciate the process and is happy with the situation under Jason Kidd, says Andrew Gruman of Fox Sports Wisconsin.
