Watts has continued her stellar play in her final season at Weddington High School. On Wednesday, she had 33 points on a career-high 11 three-pointers in a win over Cuthbertson.
Averaging 30.0 points per game this season, Watts became Union County's all-time leading scorer as a senior, and recorded a third career quadruple-double when she posted 36 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists and 11 steals on Jan. 9.
Walker, who plays in Orlando at Lake Highland Prep, became the first Orange County high school girl to score 2,500 career points, surpassing the previous county leader, Alexa Deluzio, who played at Florida State.
Ironically, the same night that Watts had the aforementioned quadruple-double, Walker went for a career-high 50 points vs. Lake Howell.
