Friday's Scrimmage Ends In A 3-3 Tie

Chapel Hill, N.C. -- Three home runs highlighted Friday's scrimmage which ended in a nine-inning, 3-3 tie at the Bosh.
Navy went up 1-0 in the first when Alex Raburn scored on a wild pitch, then Hunter Williams' home run to right put Navy up 2-0 in the second.
Blue came right back to tie the scrimmage up in the second on solo homers by Skye Bolt and Joe Dudek. Navy regained the lead in the third when Adrian Chacon's single drove in Josh Merrigan. Blue then tied things up when Korey Dunbar's single drove in Michael Massardo in the sixth.
Trent Thornton and Benton Moss were the two starters. Nick Raquet, Zach Rice, Spencer Trayner, Chris McCue, Trevor Kelley and Reilly Hovis threw in relief.
Carolina will next scimmage on Saturday afternoon before heading over to the Blue Zone for the sold-out First Pitch Dinner.
