• Carolina safety Donnie Miles forced a fumble in the second quarter that was recovered by defensive end Junior Gnonkonde. The Tar Heels converted that turnover into a touchdown when Marquise Williams found Mack Hollins on a 32-yard touchdown pass on third down.
