• Carolina had its four-game winning streak snapped last time out in a 66-63 setback to Pacific on Wednesday at Carmichael Arena.
• Destinee Walker was named ACC Rookie of the Week on Monday after averaging 19.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.8 steals in leading Carolina to a 4-0 record last week.
• Walker's award is the 57th time a UNC player has earned Rookie of the Week honors, tops in the ACC.
• Sylvia Hatchell is seven wins shy of 700 victories at North Carolina in 30 seasons in Chapel Hill.
• UNC has not trailed in any of its four victories this season.
• Carolina is 3rd in the ACC at 78.9 percent shooting from the line.

UNC TRIO AMONG TOP ACC SCORERS
North Carolina's three starting guards all rank among the leading scorers in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Destinee Walker is the top scoring freshman in the league, and 9th overall, at 16.1 points per game. Jamie Cherry is 11th at 15.6 ppg, and Stephanie Watts is 26th at 12.3 per game.
WALKER SELECTED ACC ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Destinee Walker was named the ACC Rookie of the Week after leading her team to a 4-0 record last week. She averaged a team-leading 19.3 points per game. She exploded for 32 points and 10 rebounds in a 94-58 win over Florida A&M. She not only recorded her first career double-double, but Walker's 32 points tied for the second most points ever scored in a single game by a UNC freshman. Walker scored in double figures in all four games, including 25 points on 10-of-13 shooting in a 64-52 win over Iona on Saturday.
STAT SHEET STUFFER
Jamie Cherry not only ranks 11th in the ACC in scoring at 15.6 ppg, but has also gone to the free throw line 44 times and made 39 of her attempts, both league highs among qualifying shooters. Cherry ranks 7th in FT percentage (88.6%), 8th in assists (3.9), 9th in 3FG% (42.9) and 14th in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.5).
WALKER NETS 32 IN JUST THIRD CAREER GAME
Destinee Walker scored 32 points against Florida A&M in just her third collegiate game at North Carolina. That figure ties Tonya Sampson for the second most points scored in a game by a Tar Heel rookie.

North Carolina is third in the ACC by converting 78.9 percent of its free throw. The Heels have made 112 of their 142 attempts, both figures rank second in the ACC to Georgia Tech. Destinee Walker is second in the league at 95.7 percent (22-for-23), while Jamie Cherry is seventh at 39-of-44 (88.6%).
SUMMERS SETTING CAREER HIGHS
After playing limited minutes in her first two years with Carolina, redshirt junior Hillary Summers is averaging 10.0 ppg, and ranks 11th in the ACC in rebounding (7.7) and sixth in blocks (2.1) per game.
WATTS PLAYING STRONG OVERALL GAME
Freshman guard Stephanie Watts produced four quadruple-doubles in high school. Her overall game has translated to the collegiate game thus far, averaging 12.3 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 2.3 steals and 0.9 blocks per game. Her best effort to date was a 27 point, 6 rebound, 5 assist, 3 steal and 3 block performance against Florida A&M on Nov. 17.
