Walker, Watts Named Naismith All-America's

Walker is a third team selection, while Watts is an honorable mention honoree.
From Orlando, Florida, Walker was among 10 finalists for the Naismith Player of the Year. She led Lake Highland Prep to the Florida Class 4A state championship and was named Player of the Year in her classification by averaging 24.6 points, 8.1 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 3.9 steals per game in 2014-15.
The 5-10 combo guard is a consensus top 20 prospect in her class. MaxPreps.com ranked Walker the No. 2 shooting guard in the country.
Watts, from Wesley Chapel, North Carolina, made the 15-person Midseason List for the Naismith Player of the Year honor. She averaged 29.1 points, 8.8 rebounds, 6.1 assists, 4.7 steals and 2.4 blocks for Weddington High School in Matthews as a senior.
Earlier this season, Watts became Union Country's all-time leading scorer, and claims three of the four quadruple doubles in girl's basketball state history.
Additionally, in the first round of the 3A playoffs, Watts made her 127th 3-point shot, setting a new North Carolina High School Athletic Association single-season record.
Both players will compete in the McDonald's All-American girls' game on April 1 in Chicago and the Jordan Brand Classic on April 17 inside the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.
