Tar Heel Poll Notes
• North Carolina fell four spots to No. 19 in this week's Associated Press top 25 poll and dropped one spot to No. 19 in this week's ESPN/USA Today coaches poll, released on Monday.
• Carolina is ranked in the AP poll for the 21st week in a row, including all 17 polls in 2014-15. UNC was ranked in the final four polls of last season.
•The Tar Heels began the 2014-15 season ranked sixth in the preseason. UNC started the season in the top 10 for the ninth time in 12 seasons under head coach Roy Williams.
Looking Back…
• Ranked 15th last week by the AP, Carolina lost at home to N.C. State and won on the road at Miami.
Coming Up...
• This week, the Tar Heels will visit Georgia Tech on Tuesday night and host Duke on Saturday at 9 p.m.
ACC Teams in the Poll
• There are five Atlantic Coast Conference teams ranked in this week's AP Top 25 poll, including No. 2 Virginia, No. 3 Duke, No. 12 Notre Dame, No. 16 Louisville and No. 19 Carolina.

• Carolina has been ranked in 837 AP polls, more than any school in the nation.
• The Tar Heels have been ranked in the AP Top 10 626 times, most in ACC history and second-most all-time behind Kentucky.
• The Tar Heels have achieved a Top 10 ranking in the AP poll in 52 of the poll's 66 seasons, including 46 of the last 49. Carolina has finished in the AP Top 10 34 times, including 23 of the last 34.
