Limited Seats Remain For Veterans Classic

ANNAPOLIS, MD.—A limited number of tickets remain for the 2015 Veterans Classic basketball showcase at the U.S. Naval Academy. The second annual event will be played at Alumni Hall on Friday, Nov. 13, the opening day of the 2015 college basketball season.
North Carolina will face Temple at 7:00 PM followed by Florida vs. Navy at 9:30 PM.
Tickets for the event are $75 and cover both games of the doubleheader. Fans can purchase tickets online or by calling 1-800-US4-NAVY.
The event brings together top teams from across the country in recognition of Veterans Day. Navy played Michigan State and VCU defeated Tennessee in the inaugural Veterans Classic last season.The Tar Heels were 26-12 last season and have been ranked highly in several early preseason rankings for 2015-16. Carolina returns four starters, including seniors Marcus Paige and Brice Johnson. Hall of Fame head coach Roy Williams enters his 13th season at Carolina.
Head coach Fran Dunphy led Temple to the NIT semifinals last season and an overall record of 26-11. Dunphy has taken Temple to six NCAA Tournaments in his nine years at the school.
The Veterans Classic will be televised on CBS Sports Network.
